I like all these trees, but somthing about them doesn't seem quite right. The
branches and twigs are just too straight. It may not be possible, given the
software, but could they be more curvey and crooked? With lots of foliage, it
doesn't matter, of course.

The angular branches and stems are a common problem with tree models. Whe you look at them straight on, its not so noticabale but with top down, it sticks out like a sore thumb.
   Ive used XFrog models before and had the same problem and they are supposed to be one of the best in the business. The lack of smoothness keeps the polygon count down to a manageable level.
