I'm using Vue to attempt to make a rocky hill similar to the one that comes with DJ in the Wild pack, I think.

This is a work in progress (wip), so I would appreciate any feedback.

Very nice ...
I have some trouble seeing it as a top-down figure when I look at the little piece at the bottom-right, but that could be me.
I like it. Looks like a hill to me. Could probably use a bit of texture in the hill itself, but it also works as is.

To me it looks 3-d, but the large boulders make the rest of the "hill" look more like uneven ground nestled between them. I have no direct suggestions for how to fix that, since I absolutely suck at 3-d rendering (or anything else artistic, for that matter)!

I agree with Seeker, it looks 3d to me (especially at the top) but the rocks make it look kinda wierd. The little patch to the bottom right looks like a rocky, uneven depression instead of a hill, which is still really cool.

When are those rocks and plants going to be uploaded to your site?!?

I'll probably end up cutting away most of the green area, leaving mostly the rocky outcropping and the scrub growth. Hill probably wasn't a good word, I was more or less going by what the DJ folks call theirs. Of course with some shading objects this could be a small hill or knoll where a gnome sits.

Isn't it supposed to look 3d? I'm not understanding.

Whatever it is, I like it! Anything that makes my stripes of unblended rock texture look more natural is fine with me.

When, o when will we get a blend or smudge feature WITHIN dundjinni? I can't stand doing it in post processing!

It's pretty. very well done hill thingy. I took a Saturn VUE across some rocky hills... turns out plastic cars and off roading don't mix all that well

Amen to that one! Even a feather option when in draw mode.

lol, at least this is something I'm creating on my own, even though it's nt really been difficult, except for trying to lay things out so they look nice.
