I just noticed all the Large spells are PNG files, not DJX. Is that intentional? Even a Thumbs.db is included, which makes this look like an oversight...

I had not noticed that yet ...
I think you are right Zicon.

No, it was intentional to do the large files in PNG format for speed. The DJX format works great expect for very large files so the Fluid team decided to release those in PNG format.
We hope our fans won't share them! :)

Has anyone created any maps using this Art Pack? I'm curious how they look.

Second that motion for a map with images. I'd like to see what I'm buying!

I run my games on RPOL and use Dundjinni to create my battle maps.. I have been dying for something like the spell art pack... Seriously...Thank you.. No more drawing circles in paintbrush and no more drawing lines to show the area of effect. The red cover area in the dundjinni was not enough to cover so many effects. The players were always confused.

I've placed two sample images of some of the spell effects from the Spell Art pack in the Gallery.
To give you a sense of scale, the second image of the large spell effects is half the size of the first image!
Enjoy!
