Very much enjoying using Dundjinni and it is well worth the money as it is. Of couse I do have some minor quibbles with it.

Little annoyances in Dundjinni:

Doesn't remember my working path from session to session. Everytime I start Dudjinni anew I have to navigate to where my files are kept and they sure as heck aren't in the programs directory.

Doesn't remember the path from one export to the next. This is actually very, very annoying. At the very least it should default to the current working directory.

Double-clicking on a .dja file should start Dundjinni and load the file.

Snap-to-grid and the snap-to settings should have visible indicators on the tool bar (or whatever you call that area just below the menus).

Needs to remember my font choice in the various description dialogs. Quite annoying to have it always choose the first font in the list.

Needs a way to print/export contact sheets of the various textures and objects so that I can freaking find stuff. A pdf with pages broken down by Genre/Pack/Type would be great.

Alternatively a searchable database with some user-definable keyword fields. While this would be nice I would rather have the other sooner than this later.

The export map function really should be intelligent enough to only export the area of the map that was used.

The Export Map dialog is a little wierd. Why is it a "Raw" BMP? Versus cooked? And it says, "custom size" but what you really mean is more like change the DPI. It should give the actual output size below that when you choose a new "Pixels Per Cell". If I choose 200 ppc then it should indicate that the output size will be 6400x8000.

Things I would like to see:

Dundjinni really needs an entire preferences set where a lot of these things can be given defaults and then if a user changes something on a particular project that info is saved with the project.

New CSS files for the adventure html export are needed. The included ones aren't very good.

Ability to select multiple items and apply common properties. Like with doors. Do a selection of various doors and then set status like locked or a general description.

Since the EULA prohibits the use of the included artwork in commercial apps (a silly idea if I ever heard one) there should be a way to disable access to the forbidden assets. This way a user won't accidentally include something and inadvertantly infringe.

There should be a shortcut and/or menu option for accessing the properties dialog of a selected object.

Export Map should have an option to put on a Dundjinni compass rose (or other graphic) for those of us who always forget.

Anyway I am very pleased with Dundjinni and am looking forward to it getting even better. When was that next release again?

Also have a RAM/Memory setting within the program rather than having to change registry settings manually.

Battlegrounds RPG : System agnostic virtual tabletop.

Excellent points.

Tired of the time & expense involved in printing out all your DJ maps? Skip the printing step, and play right on your maps!

Those are all great points and we'll include those ideas for suggestions in next patch.

Further follow up on feature requests and general improvements.

UI Improvements

A mostly recently loaded files option in the Files menu would be handy. Display the last N files where N is set in that Preferences I asked for earlier.

As Dundjinni supports having multiple files open at once a Save All command in the file menu would be nice.

More efficient object browsing

Looking at the .djx files I see that they have a Low-1 and a High-1 element in them but given the performance of the Pick Dialog I'm guessing that the Low-1 isn't an actual thumbnail sized to match either the Pick Dialog or the Map Item Dialog. Since you are already using XML perhaps you could extend the format to include appropriately sized thumbnails for the Map Item Dialog and change the Pick Dialog to use the same size thumbnails.
