I had to reload everything and when I copied all my art back in it is there. The trouble is that when you try to use it there is no picture to see what you are choosing, the name is there and as far as the program goes the files are there but I can't see them. Is there anything I can do short of redownloading it all.

Thanks

Is there a ~properties file in every folder? These determine the kind of art that is in the folder. Halebop showed a very good example of that in here. Without such a ~properties file, nothing is shown (like you describe).

Oh ... and welcome aboard

I am going to redo my file structure and copy the properties files over again and see if that helps if not then I will come back and see what can be done. Thanks for your help.

Don't forget that you can also download the CSUAC modules from the Gamemaster's Parlor (see my signature). Cecil is putting all user-art in a large structure that will be the same for everyone using it. Search for "CSUAC" here and look on the GM's Parlor site for more information about this.

I have found that it is the .djx files that are not being shown. Not sure what to do about that. Also thanks for the info I forgot about the CSUAC.

I have a few DJX files that are not showing up too, but that is just 2 or so. Those are probably corrupt. If more than a few are not showing up, you have a different problem.
Is this problem seen with all the DJX files, or just the ones that come with Dundjinni, or just the ones that you bought/downloaded (like the User Collections)? If it is the ones that you bought/downloaded, did you just copy all the art from those art-packs back, or did you install them again? They need to be installed.

I think you were right, it seems to be the user art collections so I am going back on and reinstalling them.

I cannot get them to install when I double click the first file ..it just opens another window ...what am I doing wrong?
I tried to place them in the proper files but nothing happens other than the names showing up.
It is very frustrating to download the art packs and then have them not work.

Hi Darius,

Do you by any chance use WinRar or another program (other than JAVA) that is associated with .jar-files?
The .jar-files need to be associated with JAVA, or else they won't install. What you describe sounds like WinRar opening an archive

Hope this helps ...

Yes I saw that was part of the problem.
Now the install comes up but it will not allow me to use my registration key ...it is still frustrating and now I do not know what to do.
I bought this product at origins in 2004 and regestered it when I bought it.
I even reinstalled this on another computer just to see and the regular installation takes the key but the art pack instalation will not.
any advice?
Darius

If you're installing from a Dundjinni Retail CD, you need to use both the name and reg code listed inside the CD cover. It's something like "Retail User", if I remember correctly, and it probably helps to make sure that you type it in exactly as listed (capital and lowercase letters, etc.).

Just for future reference:
**The Art Packs have their own regestration codes.
The original code from the CD does not work. The art packs are downloads not on CD.
The user is the name you used to order it with. Not the user on the CD as that is automaticly put in the user field and I had to delete that and write my name there.

The number one and letter l (el) look very very similar as do a zero and an oh. There are several letters that should never be used on the passwords for this program.
You cannot cut and paste the code it is disabled when you install.

Remember to always check your rar as they say in the other parts of this forum to make sure it is not opening the self extracting install.

All this stuff will save you both headaches and a cranky afternoon.
I love the art packs now that they are installed.
Later,
Darius

I finally got my art to show up. I had to uninstall and reinstall everything. Lost a couple of maps by not paying attention, but I can make them right back now that I got all my art.
