Okay, I fixed the file on Barge #1. Don't know if anyone noticed but there was a funky line around it where I tried to define the edge of it after I had already added the shadow. I fixed that and added cleats alomg the sides. The cleats are on both ships even though the jpg only shows it on one.

Ok, this should be the final version! I have completed the tarp and I think it looks much better then my first attempt since I did some shape editting and came around on the shading a little better.
The tarp, along with all other components are now in this zip file (almost 3MB). I will most likely replace the component links on the front page with this zip as well since I have limited web space for now. All of the seperate components are:
Barge
Barge w/interior furnishings
Crossbeams
Tarp
Cabin Ceiling
Hope you like it, happy mapping! Now what to do next....

The tarp is much improved. Great job!
Wish I knew how you got that effect.

Okay, I have a quick question....
I think I read in a post a while back to use about 200 pixels for 5'. I didn't think about that while making my river barge, but actually, using that scale works out about right for it when I look at it. Makes it around 12ish' x 50-60ish'. Now what resolution do you guys use as a standard - 96? Or do you set your image by inches and then set your resolution to whatever you want (according to file size)?
