Here's a little object I like to use to show trapdoors in ceilings. One in black, one in white depending on the hue of your flooring. Stamp one of those nice ladder objects inside of this, and there ya go.

I know this type of art object isn't worthy of oohs and ahhs, but did anybody (other than me) find this useful? Just curious as to if I should bother with things like this in the future, that's all.

I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. I'll probably only realistically use a fraction of the art I've downloaded, but it's nice to have a decent catalog to choose from. Keep 'em coming.

What bakermail said. My thoughts perfectly placed into words. Even if I might use a piece of art in a single map then it is worth having. Very often it is that one piece that makes all the difference. For example, that wonderful sewer system in the Maps section would lose that certain something -- its verisimilitude, if you prefer -- without those rats.

It might help if people where to show examples of their art, so we can see the use and give us ideas.

Gotcha!
Here is how I used the white graphic to illustrate a ladder leading to an upper level via a trapdoor.
And here, a similar use illustrating a ladder decending to a lower level.

I needed it for a ship I'm making. I was trying to figure out how I was going to show interior hatches in the ceiling. This is perfect.

I like it for the ceiling but will probably work on an object for the floor. Perhaps for a hidden trapdoor on the floor--but then I wouldn't use the ladder either.

Yeah, Fluid needs to make a legitimate trapdoor art object.
