Any works (images, text, etc.) that are copyrighted
by any individual or company should not be posted on these forums.
These works include, but are not limited to:
- Direct scans of images or text from books, magazines, etc.
- Images downloaded/copied from websites with copyright notices
- Downloaded images of known copyrighted material from websites or other sources without copyright notices
Additionally, it is also requested that Dundjinni-remakes of published maps from modules, magazines, game source materials, etc., are not posted here. This means that if your Dundjinni map is as close to a direct representation of a map in a published, copyrighted book, magazine, etc. that you can make, then it should not be posted here.
Dundjinni maps of unmapped portions of published modules/adventures, or completely "re-imagined" maps (a map drawn simply from a scene or room description), are permitted.
Fluid staff and/or forum Moderators may pull images from the site at their discretion that they deem violate this policy. Maps that are so general in their description or composition ("A single 20'x30' room with a trap door in the center") are unlikely to be pulled.
Over time, the rule of thumb regarding this policy has become "If in doubt, don't post."
Moderators and staff can be informed of potential breaches of this policy by clicking the "report" icon located in the upper-right hand corner of each posting in the forums.

Personally, I think this bit from the Fluid Legal Notices page should be included, since it impacts this subject directly and wasn't immediately appearent. But hey, you're the mod.

Sadly, this is mostly why I haven't posted any of the maps I've made yet. I
don't have a lot of artistic talent, but I'm a whiz at cutting and pasting from
other people's work to make my own stuff. Most of the stuff I've made
entirely on my own, I have never been happy with. I wish the lawyers could
just leave us alone. Most of us are just guys trying to have fun playing a
game, and we're not trying to steal someone's living from them.

Images of products on Ebay are indeed copyrighted.
The lawyers are there to protect the people who created the original work. They are not paid to see the difference in usage by people who borrow the work 
For DJ to be able to keep this site and the business running, we need to make sure we aren't drawn into a lawsuit.
