Just finished the jailbreak tutorial and printed my first map (after scratching my head trying to figure out how to print the map in battlemat size, thank the maker I figured it out after reading a post that gave me the answer)!

I hope to start using DJ and creating my maps for my next D&D game, I know my players will enjoy these maps, they alreay like the various dungeon tiles I have (from D&D miniature sets and various websites).

I have read here that there is a very good community here, and I will be finding that out very quickly once I start asking lots of questions. (Grin)

Welcome to the forums Giorgio!

FYI: You don't *have* to print a "Battlemap". Dundjinni does it for you. "Battlemap" is just a term used by DJ to refer to a map printed at the scale of 1" per square.

If you just want to print the map for miniatures use, you can do so by clicking on "File", Then on "Print".

A full DJ map, scaled at "1.0 in", will print 16 pages of regular 8.5 X 11 paper. Each page will be 8 squares wide by 10 squares, pre-scaled for miniatures use.

If you print at ".25 in" you will have your entire map on 1 page for use as the "DM's Master map".

Again Welcome aboard!
