Ran into a place on a map where I needed narrow stairs (turning the correct way ) so I had to make a set.   Hope y'all like 'em.

A Wooden Set, too:

Oh... sure... ask me after I close the file without saving it.

I'll see what I can do.

And no, I forgot to save the RDW file before closing it.

Ahhh the old rule applys: save early save often! I think i saw some autosave feature in the settings of realdraw, maybe check the help how this works. you may have a temp file somewhere.

Miss Evil. These stars are very nice. I would like to request a couple items.

1) These same stairs, although only at 1/4 circle. I know I could always use the eraser, but .. well.. I'm a lazy bastich. :)

and 2) What about straight stairs with a landing. You go down a narrow flight, hit a landing, and come back down on the other side. The stairs would be 2 1/2 feet so that would be 5 ft stair object.

Also, can you make a second flight, that looks as if it go up to the next next instead of down previous level?

Ooo... stairs with a landing! I need one of those, too! Thanks for reminding me!      I'll try to get to those tomorrow.

As for the last request, I'm not sure what you mean. Could you explain it a little better?

I find it sometimes difficul to tell at a glance if the stairs ar going up from this level, or if they are going down from this level. I'd like to find a way to tell just by looking at it.

For example: If the stairs get darker as they get smaller, you can tell right away that they must be going down to the next level.

But how can you tell if the stairs are going UP to the level above you? Can you somehow put just the higher level steps in certain perspective? I suppose that really doesnt make much sense either.

Hrmm...I suppose it will have to do for now.

Okay, I think I have what you wanted. Could someone tell me if I have these things turning the right way?

Wicked

- one request - is anyone able to take the various floor texture tiles and add stair like shadows to them - ideally I want to place two sets of stairs in a long corridor to lower / raise a section of the corridor - so I don't want the stairs narrower at the bottom than the top cos it looks odd in a corridor.

I just want a floor tile I can use in 5 foot and 10 foot wide corridors.

If someone could explain how to do this using dndjinni only after placing the floor texture that would be great

I usually put the top of the stairs above a wall. If it's sitting on top of a wall, then it goes from this level up. If there's no wall under the highest step, then it goes from this level down.
