Top-notch quality.

I'm guessing Futureboy sucks at Limbo, since he's always raising the bar.

Always looked out for that kind of grates.

How about a vertical version for the walls?

Kalex, I got that floor texture on the forum somewhere...

The file name has KPL on them. They must have been made by Kepli.

I think they are included in one of Kepli's Ruin packs on the GM's Parlor website.

http://www.gmsparlor.com

(go to Downloads > Dundjinni User Art Archive > Dundjinni Special Collections)

Ahhh ... I remember now. I stand corrected.

I know I've seen them before.
Are they, maybe, included in User art pack 1 or 2 on the User art page?

Thanks for the repost Kep,

Hmm! You're right, K.

The "grey version" i meant is called TM_RuinedFloor01 & could be found in their RuinPack 1.

Is isn't the same texture but it is darn close...

But why is it called "Ruinpack 1 from Kepli" if you didn't participate in it's making?

Okay, starting to work on some square grates. Before I make too many... is there any interest in these square grates with the emblems in them?

I like the first one, but the ones with the emblems don't really convince me
that they're worth pursuing. Perhaps that's just because I've never seen a
grate with an emblem, though.

Very nice update FB!

I also like the first one the most.

Maybe it's just the type of emblems that is throwing me off a little.

I'm trying to think of them in use, and I can't think of a convincing way to use a sewer grate that has a unicorn emblem on it.

Hmm ... maybe a different kind of emblem, something other than creatures. Maybe runes or something similar?

Maybe some versions with handles and locks?

Just throwing out some ideas.

Thanks,
GTech

I guess I was thinking maybe grates around a castle and in the lower levels of one with the motif of the ruling house. Ah well, back to the drawing board...

No ... that's a great idea!

You'll just have to lead us by the nose to find the other pieces with the same motif.

Maybe put them together in sets?

Thanks,
GTech

The square versions are great, even with the emblems.

Change the emblems a bit, that they become a part of the bars. Now they are looking a little bit funny, not as "natural" part of the grate. But the idea with the emblem is great...

Second that! The last one is one of the best...

How about some versions with handles, latches and/or (pad)locks? And the mandatory rusted ones?

And 1 or 2 vertical versions for the walls?

Oh, and a "ripped out of the floor" version would be fine.

Half the credit (for asking) goes to g_tech. He suggested the handles and locks yesterday, i think. Just to be fair...

And just for fun: How about a "Reggiefied" version, who got stuck?

Great work FB. I am definatley glad to have you back.

I agree with Enno. I think the emblems might be better suited as part of the grating rather than on top of it.

Yeah, the first set didn't turn out as well as the second. I'm still learning new tricks. But here is the remainder of it and the second set anyway. Then I'll start working on the other suggestions since there isn't a whole lot of interest in the emblems. If anyone wants a specific type of emblem I'll do that, otherwise this is it!

ZIP-Emblem - Set 1 883_Emblem--set1.zip
ZIP-Emblem - Set 2 8E9_Emblem--set2.zip

SET 1:(1st 4 on previous page)

SET 2:

FutureBoy:

I vote you keep going with the emblems. Imagine a puzzle that relies on the PCs finding grates with certain emblems. They'd be built right into the maps! Could be very cool.

SB

PS: Of course, Congrats and nice work!

Those are still the same vines I always use Aegean. They were originally created by Surf in Poser or Vue I guess. I just made these keplifications (and a bunch of others )

It's been a while, so I can't remember if these were originally rendered in Vue or Poser. But it was one of them!!

I can't believe I'm about to request this ... Kep, you must be rubbing off on me.

More Vines (poses?) would be GREAT!

I'm sure Kep would be more than happy to Keplify all of them.

Thanks,
GTech

I think I even have the same models now (or could easily enough get them). But if Surf renders some more, I am more than happy to create keplifications. The downside is that I didn't save the settings for all of them, so it can take a while to get them right

Could you make square ones ripped open, like the round ones - just to have this set complete?

I might give it a shot after I finish working on the new art for my contest map. That's pretty much the only stuff I have been working on. Think maybe I went a bit overboard on it!

It lies somewhere around 80 or so items. I hit that number on my Druid map. After that, I was wiped out.
