Lingster,

Falcon made some Excellent Wooden Palisade wall pieces a while back that I use for all of my Palisade needs.

That link takes me to bird shadows.... ?

Found them though. I have to put the walls together though. I'll have to build myself some "sections"... Watch for an update to the wall soon.

Anyone know where I can get a wooden tower to go with said wall? Gotta have the archers stand somewhere...

The Ruins Pack pieces look great in the map
Like the grass and tracks in the dirt road

The tracks were simple. I just used a "darker dirt" and used a pencil size of "1 foot" Then made the map out to 1/4 size and just drew along... made several to make several grooves. It's a great idea for that. Better than just a simple untravelled dirt road.

Yep, I kinda used the same technique on a commercial map a while ago ... looked very nice

I've updated the main post with more information about this grand undertaking. This whole town map will be HUGE! 28 maps total, 136 by 154 inches!!!

that's 11.3 by 12.8 feet!

Watch for updates to this thread as I finish the maps.

Very nice work, the castle walls do look good in your map. Glad to see people starting to use items in that back.
