Improved versions have been added to the October contest ... Get them there

I believe the new art contest might be "Seafaring stuff", but I was already doing these ...

Small boats ... also with some water in them and two turned-over ones.

Original free Vue model

My versions ...
Zips
DF5_SmallBoats01.zip
65Z_SmallBoats02.zip
F9B_SmallBoats03.zip

Contactsheet (they are all the same scale, but a contactsheet resizes them to the same canvas size)

Sample of turned-over boat with transparent outer part ...

Great Stuff Kepli.

I am glad I said seafaring and not seaworthy.

Great boats, Kepli. I like how you play with the water effects.

WOW! Awesome boats!

If the contest is for "seafaring stuff" you've got to enter these!

Good looking boats but is it just me that thinks those boats are pretty shallow? They look like they are only a few inchs deep (except under the seats) The sides could use a bit more shadow..???

The ones upside down are much better for perspective.

edit:
Here's a very quicky, badly drawn shadow jpg of what I mean..sort of.

Hmm, you are right DL ... could use even more shadow. If you look at the original, you see I already made a very big change in that (added a rim and a shadow alongside it).
The upside down ones also got a big change in depth shadow from me ... those turned out better

Made two samples with deeper shadow. Let me know if you want them all to look like that ...

Guess that means I should do the others like this too. They will be new small boats of course. People can still choose between them
