Inspired by greytale's floor holes I started a topic for floor holes. Here are a few I have made so far and examples. If everyone likes these, I will post more.

Edited to fix blur edges and to make shadow darker

Very nice blu. The only thing that stands out to me is that the edges seem too blurry. A think a nice crisp border would look more appropriate for a floor. Maybe sharper shadows for an occassional jagged edge or splintered look.

Love the idea!

I would probably have the inside all black though and have another with dirt on the inside.

Thoughts: A hole in the floor will either lead you to the basement below (black will work), to the ground under your building (thus the dirt version) or to the ceiling in the room below you (which would be whatever material they used on the ceiling so your existing version or black would work).

Great stuff though!

Great stuff!

The more I think about it, the wood that broke from the floor would be down below on the dirt floor in small rotten pieces.. Hmmm.. A mod sounds in order-I'll see what I can do later this week.

Great stuff Blu!

Ooooh, purdy! They probably make for reasonable roof holes too.

Now we can finally destroy the taverns we're building with Greytale's tavern items!

These are AWESOME! GREAT Work Blu!!!

The way you did these provides a VERY effective illusion.

We could also really use some of these, using the same style, for stone floors too.

Dorpond: With these having transparent centers, You could easily throw anything that you wanted under these within DJ. Broken wood, dirt floor, your Ex ...

Thanks a Bunch Blu!

I am working on some roof holes but they can also be used for floors. Here is an example:
