Just the kind of animals we need for generic maps

Very good, looking forward to other poses. I knew there was another domestic animal we were missing!

Nah, that was an army, not three stragglers

Grazing pose, different breed:

These probably need to be scaled down about 20%-25% in DJ. I'm guessing a large goat is about 4 feet long.

Woop! Woop!

Kaidra Darkweather - a PC - has a goat pet.

Any ideas for the stats of goats?

I think the Monster Manual has a goat somewhere, or at least something similar, like a deer...

Nice Goats Heruca.

3.5 Goat stats: Houston, we have a problem.

I checked the 3.5 MM, DMG, and PHB ... No stats for herd animals at all. Goats, cattle, sheep, deer, hart ... nothing.

I checked 3.0 ... no stats.

AD&D 2nd Edition MM has "Mammal, Herd".
Goats, cattle, etc. are listed and statted up, but the conversion would be a real pain.

So I think, maybe, the WotC idea of goat, cattle and other herd animal stats is probably best summed up by this entry in the PHB, on pg 129, under the heading "Food, Drink, and Lodging":

Meat, chunk of: 3 sp, 1/2 lb.

Thanks.
GTech

But I guess you can use Boar stats, It isn't very different... (From a "statistical" point of view at least...)

Boar? That's interesting... Yeah, Okay, I'll use that. Finally, the goat can headbutt the badguys!
