The Dutch is not a problem...
I'm with you up to step 2, Java isn't on either the Recommended or Other programs lists. When I click on the Browse button and scroll down into the Java folder, I don't know which file to select.

Hmm, should be either java.exe or javaw.exe in the Bin directory ... but I am not sure which one ...
Someone else will know though

Hi,
Im having a similar problem. Ive just Downloaded the artpacks and they are all .jar installers. I have the latest version of Java and it really dosent like them. Is it looking for an earlier version of Java?
Also, my .jar extension dosent have a default program, so do i need to associate it with java.exe, javaw.exe or any of the other .exe files found in the Java/bin directory.
Thanks for your time.

I'm sure one of our more techie moderators will chime in soon - but if you've just downloaded the artpacks, they should be compatible with the latest version of Java.
As for your second question, I'll let a more techie moderator answer it.

Roy,
Based on what you've said here, and in the other thread, it really seems like you should reinstall Java.

hmm..ok, I uninstalled java completly and did a registry clean to remove java refrences.
Then reboot and installed latest java.
Another reboot to make sure all was well.
Whin i click on an artpack jar file it tells me there is no program associated with it (damn Vista :P)
I tried running the jar file with java.exe (a dos window flashes up briefly and nothing happens) and javaw.exe (error message "could not find the main class. Program will exit.
Wonder if its vista as I never had this problem with Windows XP :P
Thanks again for your time

Here are two emails that from people who had problems downloading and executing the file.

The solution appears to be to download your file onto the desktop or some non-temporary spot. Then execute the file outside of the download.
The first email also has instructions to execute Java from the command line.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Sorted...
I did as you said, using the Dos prompt and it worked fine. I did need to dl the "missing dll" from your site but when I had done this, it was all sorted.
Thanks for your time
