These are the rules for the 1st Annual DJ awards,The prize for these awards is you will be in a sticky topic 
Rule-1)No voting for your-self
Rule-2)Do not tell me how to run these awards
Rule-3)No voting until Nov. 28th

I think there's been a misunderstanding here.
You know, if the mod decide to moderate the awards, they can, it's their responsibility.
As far as I'm concerned, I don't agree that members and moderators are the same. I think we play different roles and that's the way it should be.
I think awards are a good idea, but I also think they should be handled by moderators. I think the whole award thing (mini and regular) is getting a bit out of hand.
My point is, I think it's a good idea, but I also think it should be supervised by moderators.
That's just my opinion.

Although I think the idea is fun I don't like the idea that someone has chosen who I can vote for in each category. I suggest you rethink this contest and open it to discussion to hammer out the rules.

Since this is the Social Lounge, you can pretty much do about anything you like. I do agree that moderators will moderate if necessary though
Looks to me Dark Shadow just wants to do something for fun, but it's HIS choices in the polls. I would not put people's names in their either (like DBlade says), but ask everyone to name their top 3 or top 5 or something. That would mean you can't use polls of course
Let's see if people like the polls first ...

Well, let's try to enjoy this as much as possible. It's not a bad idea after all and if the mods are ok with it, why not?
