Well, yesterday things were fine, but today I'm having some issues with Firefox and the site. It will initially allow me to login, but when I attempt to reply to posts, change my profile, etc, it states that only registered members can do it.

At one point I received a message stating that it was a cookie problem, so I went in, removed all the cookies, made sure the site was set to accept the cookies and tried again. Still no go.

This is occuring on both my work machine and my home machine. Internet Explorer, however, is working fine.

Just me, or are others suffering?

Edit: Well, my work IE suffered as well now, it's like it's loging me out too early. And now I'm posting this through my home Firefox.
I'm confused....:)

I'm using Firefox right now, having no problems. I'm not really sure what to tell you.

Done my reboot, didn't work. I'm using Firefox at home to post this, and it doesnt have any problem, but my work computer is having issues (with both IE and Firefox).

The only difference I'm seeing is that the work version of Firefox is getting two cookies (one named WWF, one named Apache). The home Firefox is getting a couple more, including dm_uuid and dm_sid.

Hrrrmmmm. The IE here at work is a straight through the university connection, and the firefox here at work is through a proxy (of my own), both have not had problems in the past.

Oh, and the work one lets me login (never sets any other cookies), but as soon as I try to do something, it 'logs out' again.

*scratches head*

If both browsers on your work computer are having problems, then there is most likely something over there causing the problem. It sould be a proxy server, internet security software installed on the PC, or even something that the company's ISP is doing.

I happen to work in the networking department, and I am pretty sure that we dont have any policies stopping that (espically since it was working yesterday and there's nothing on these boxes that removes cookies). But you're right, it's all pointing to just these boxes, maybe our packetshapper is causing issues. hrm

Maybe they're onto me....

What the ...???
Just had the same problem with FF and IE
I used the "Remove Cookies set by this site" link at the bottom of the forums and it seems to work again.

I did not see this link when I was at work, I'll have to check it tommorow, but I'm relieved to hear it's not just me.
Or it is me and I'm spreading a cookie virus.

No This not just him. Ive been having this issue since I signed up I have to go back to home page then delete cookies, history, etc and then reboot to login and even that does not always work.

A combination of the link I mentioned and cleaning my cookies manually (or remove them all automatically) did the trick this morning. It could be a security setting in the browser or a settings in the security at work causing this.
Didn't have the problem again last night at home.
