I've begun working on creating the various furniture pieces that will decorate my common room for the encounter that is underway. I figured I would share them here with you and also ask for a piece that I think is beyond my skills.

I need a universal weight machine that has a bit of scifi feel to it. This is used by superheroes for strength training so it needs to be able to handle their strength. The way I've described it to my players is that it looks very much like a modern universal weight machine, but instead of weights it has a large black box. This box, located where the weights would be, is a 'gravitic resistance system' that allows it to emulate whatever weight they wish to use.

So here are the first three pieces. I hope you find them useful.

The team conference table and chairs

The table by itself

One of the chairs

Thanks! I really wanted to give the illusion of a higher seat back and I think it worked out well. The one thing that is still bugging me is the choppy-ness of the edges. I had a hard time getting those smooth and part of that is from the shading that I was doing with the brushes. I might go back and try to clean it up some, but that is a big might.

Next up will be a couch, a smaller table, and some smaller, but more comfortable looking chairs (hopefully).

I also need to figure out how to do gym style floor mats. The rubbery ones that provide some padding should you fall, but are still pretty firm. Basically the kind you find in a martial arts school.

Not bad, but they look a little flat. I think the arm rests need to be lighter
than the cushions. Or maybe it all just needs a bit more contrast.

No! Who would expect the comfy chair! You fiend.

Once again my lack of serious Photoshop skills rears its ugly head. If you want to mod them, by all means please do. I think I know how to adjust the contrast on the different sections, but I'm not positive.

Thanks! So I take it you have a comfy chair at your house as well? We call it the people eating chair as those who sit in it tend to nod off.

LOL! Someday, someone should make a map using nothing but rainbow-
colored art posted in Kepli's honor.

Nice couches, btw. The dark red one looks a lot like the one I have here at
home.

A fine selection of furniture...

BTW does somebody have covers with the springs looking out? Just to generally "age" my furniture selection?
