Doing this for doors and widows will make it very easy to fill a floor area within the walls, since there won't be a gap ... very nice

These are some good suggestions! On a related note, is there a way to keep the 5' map grid, but set the "snap" setting to 1' increments? That way, you could draw the walls in 1' lengths which would be handy if you wanted to add a 3' door and then continue with another 2' of wall to fill the whole 5' gridspace. That would be a nice plug for the next patch, and maybe a whole lot easier than what I was wishing before 3 comments earlier! It would cut down on all that erasing you guys have been doing if you could draw in 1' lengths.

Not at this time. DJ2 will have a lot more snap points though
Using the Straight Line pencil will help and you can also hold down the Shift key (don't know the key on a Mac) to draw straight lines with the Free Hand pencil.

I've had pretty good luck drawing my outer walls, then erasing where I want the windows to go and re-drawing the erased segments again in the "next thickness down" the list.

Where are you getting the floor tiles, they look fantastic!
