Getting the hang of this now, so I am going for another mod. This time I've armoured a centaur created Alynnalizza (yes - it IS under there somewhere), making it an armanite (a demon found in Fiendish Codex I: Hordes of the Abyss) - though it can also be used - obviously - as an armoured centaur.
Again, feedback is appreciated.

Cool, very interesting idea using shields to create the barding. And the spear is very nice.
My only constructive critisism would be that I think the head & upper body look a little small in comparision to the horse body.

Very nice mod but if I can offer one comment - the shields make the barding look very "flat horizontaly"
Other famtastic mod

In a real life view I agree with you, but in a Demon-Punk view I kind of like the surealistic look of it.

Alynnalizza did the spear - I just changed the bright red colour to something slightly more demonic. The same goes for the proportions between the horse and the human part - Alynnalizza's work, and I reacted the same as you at first glance. However, when I thought about it, it is realistic, so that is the reason why I chose this particular centaur. Of course, the barding sticking out on the sides gives it the impression of being even bigger.
As for the flatness of the barding . . . I didn't consider it as I made it, but as you point it out, I plainly see it. Any ideas on how to do that better? Maybe by adding highlights or shadows? To put it plainly, I had a hard time finding 'parts' for the barding (also the helmet, I ended up having to cut the head of some guy to do that).

Really nice work Oistene
I don't think the barding looks that flat. The dark-to-light shadow on the shields makes it look round enough to me

Very nice, thanks.
And I agree with what Bogie said.
