Thank you DD.. I love the armored One..

GREAT JOB!!!!!

(I still cant thank you enough for the Vrocks, so useful.)

One thing I was thinking about that I found surprising is that there arent many werecritters out there (other than Devin's). There is a lot of potential with those creatures cause their hybird form uses weapons and armor. Mmm...

Very cool DD, thanks for all these creatures!

SC... A Halfling Paladin in plate armor?
Isn't that just asking every evil bad guy out there to play "Bowling with Halflings"?

Hi Devildan, your creatures are really superb, but I have trouble using them. Please look at this example picture:

As you can see, the dead Ettin works fine, but the standing Ettin looks out of place (compare with the Orc to see the correct perspective).

It would be really aweseome if we could have some version of the creatures that can be used in isometric pictures like this! I think there would also be a lot of people in the RPG Maker crowd a rmxp.org who would love to see this.

So, pretty please??

Hi guys!

Thanks for all the feedback! It's a pleasure to me make those creatures, although it's a lot of time consuming.

Faebinder wrote:

All right Faebinder, werecritters (at least some of them) moved to the top of my list. Is that ok?

Hummm ... secret ... but I promise you that I'll post it next sunday.

SC, a guy so talented like you can do what I do and much more, I'm sure!
About the halflings I have done one a long time ago and never posted it. It's not armored so it could pass by a peasant, I think. I also may use this same model and put an armor on it.

Well, the critters are top down that's why they don't look fine in an isometric map.
But don't worry, from now every set will have at least one isometric view.

Hi guys!

Today I'm posting a Bugbear set. Goblinoids are tough to make cuz they are described in many ways, sometimes having very different features!

Anyway I hope you enjoy it.

Bugbear Set

.ZIPs
ZC3_BugbearVol1.zip
37E_BugbearVol2.zip

The last volume contains an "isometric" view. Cryogenes, please, give me some feedback. Hope it works properly.

Hi guys, it can be done, but I would have to stop all my other monster projects and that's why I'm not taking specific requests.
Really sorry.
Once we have 80% of the Monster Manual done I may start to attend your specific requests. Ok?

As always, AMAZING stuff!

What software do you use for this sort of work? I'm interested in creating some custom top-down characters for the players in my campaign.

Fabulous! There can never be enough undead, and the nagas are also very handy.

Any plans for drow? Devils? Demons?

create 5 new sets of monsters in that time. Wow!

Awesome collection of monsters! The Naga look just as awesome as in the previews, and the undead are an added bonus--great job, thanks so much!!

Well Ursus, I'm using DAZ3D and a lot of Photoshop work (more than I'd like to! )

Question ... I am creating a second User Art pack from these, but I am not sure about the Wererat and Vrock. They do not appear in the Monster SRD ... Does anyone know if they are copyrighted?

They are not, Kepli - the Vrock is under Demon, and the wererat is under Lycanthrope in the SRD. So they are fair game.

Don't worry Kepli, if I post some creature that is not under the open license game, I'll ask people to use it for non comercial use only.

By the way, the size of the new monster pack is worng, it's 45.7MB and not only 8.89MB.

Now I have a question: Should I start a new thread or can continue using this one?

Kepli, three more things:

1) The Art Pack is credited to Ecopirate.
2) Both art packs (1 and 2) contains hydras.
3) In second art pack satyrs are missing.

Would you correct this? Please?

Thanks in advance.

I vote for a new thread. One thread per art pack, perhaps?

The art pack is listed as "collected by Ecopirate", but you're listed in the text description and in the file name.

I also suggest you start a new thread again DD

I'm not sure how appropriate this query is to the thread, but it seems like the best place to start.

There are a lot of traditional enemy type creatures running around here, which is great: to my mind, there can never be too many hostile NPCs. My question is, what should I do if I want animals that, in general, have no reason to attack the PCs, like, say, horses? I've scoured the base package and the things I've had the opportunity to download, but couldn't find any. I would make my own, or take a look in the online store, but I'm wretched at graphics and I currently don't have a checking or Pay-Pal or credit account. Any direction would be appreciated.

The Captain

There are a number of domesticated and wild animals here in this forum. Gotta be 20 or more horses.

Use the search function and you'll soon find them.

Thank you guys so much-- I would have had trouble finding that search link on my own! My only problem is, I'm having trouble downloading some of these items: if I don't click on a link to a zipped version (which some of these don't have), Windows Crud-sta won't let me save directly to my Maps file. Any help in that department?

Grateful as always,

Captain Bridge

All of the creatures posted in this thread (except for the "dead woman" mod I posted) are now available in an artpack for Battlegrounds (my virtual tabletop program). Click here for details, and to view contact sheets of all the monsters.
