Still working on my inn, and I wanted some booths for the walls that would match the stools I did. So I put these together. Decent fare, I think, though unfortunately the black and silver cushion doesn't stand out as well on this as it did on the stools - the shading needed for the booth back makes it just sort of fade into the wood. Ah, well. I'm still pleased with 'em. Enjoy!

(Click the contact sheet to download.)

[Note] Right now, the zip is too big for here, so I hosted it on my site. In a little bit, I'll break it up and upload it here, so it doesn't disappear next time I move my website around.

[Edit] Added an action shot.

Nice work Terraism. These go well with the bar stools.

The individual Bench Seats will also make great church pews!

Oh, that's cool! I hadn't even thought of that. Once I finish the inn, maybe I'll go back and double the length of the bare bench, and curve the back a bit more (so that it hangs over the bench behind it, essentially.) Turns out I'm liking making pieces.

(Even if my attempt to make actual matching chairs for these failed miserably this evening. Grumble.    )

Thanks for the praise, everyone! Holler if you want any quick mods done. I'm still trying to figure out how to decently rainbow-and-vine-ify the stools...

Where did those cards on the table come from? They are very nice, and very un-modern-looking :P

8C5_Ter_Booth01.zip
EZZ_Ter_Booth02.zip
3B8_Ter_Booth03.zip

Sorry about that. I recently decided not to renew the registration for Tarkanan.com, which means those all dropped. I've fixed the link to point to a server that should be up for quite some time.

And thanks, Dragonwolf, for shrinking 'em that way, too.

I somehow missed this for, well, the better part of a year. Actually, more than. Huh. Anyway, I made the cards myself from shots from one of the few remaining sets of cards from the 15th century, held in the Cloister's Collection. There's a link to a very nice photo of the set.

I'd love to upload the various sets I've made from it, I'm just not really sure about the legality, given that the cards are owned by the museum. If someone who understands stuff better could let me know, I'd be happy to.

Nice collection.
You could ask the museum for permission to use the images to create DJ art pieces.

I'd say just link the site - its on public display.....

Not sure that I would take the time out of a busy museum curator to deal with "we people"

ae

BTW nice find
